We are experiencing very challenging times. In one way or the other, the current Covid-19 pandemic is passing a toll over our lives. The updated regulatory guidelines to extend confinement for 30 more days, doesn’t mean we have to put our lives on hold completely without taking action. NHSSF is committed to serving you, and as announced, we have taken steps to move our services online, though we wanted to do more (“a little help from our friends” is what we all need right now!).
We are offering a new set of emergency workshops that will help you either to be financially prepared to tackle these excruciating times, to navigate through your assistance options on hand if you are a renter, or to educate yourself about the financial programs’ lender institutions are offering to the consumers in response to the Covid-19 crisis. Like the housing orientations, financial fitness classes, and first-time homebuyers’ workshops still available, many of these new sets of courses will be offered online in English, Spanish, and Creole too.
Please check the schedule to see the content, day, and time for the class you would be interested in taking part in. For registration, follow the link to Eventbrite and sign up online. You can also register by calling our office phone at 305-751-511 and leaving your email and contact info.
We invite you to register; we are here to help our communities thrive, and like in past crises, we will!
Note: To take an online class, you only need a computer/laptop with an internet connection. Workshops and courses will be delivered through Zoom.
